"Falling" by T.J. Newman (2021): A high-octane thriller where a commercial airline pilot is forced to crash his plane (with 144 passengers) because his family has been kidnapped by terrorists 30 minutes before takeoff. The plot involves him trying to save his family while protecting the passengers.

I read this last year. I actually started it ages ago and kept coming back to it.
