M&D Green take Spiders’ blood pressure
THANK YOU to all Spiders supporters who dropped by the blood pressure health checks supplied by M&D Green Pharmacy at our match with Morton.
As part of Heart Health month, the club partners and back of shirt sponsors set up a stall in Bar 1867 pre-match and in the east stand at half-time of our 3-2 win as part of the ‘Know Your Numbers’ campaign.
High blood pressure affects around one in three adults in the UK while a healthy blood pressure reading averages around 120/80 mmHg.
The readings and advice were delivered to Queen’s Park fans at The city Stadium, but can also be obtained free of charge from any of the 42 M&D Green Pharmacy branches around Scotland.
Among those taking the blood pressure tests were first-team defender Charlie Fox and club SLO and committee member Keith McAllister.
Head of commercial Kieran Koszary said: “Thank you to all the participants who supported the ‘Know Your Numbers’ campaign.
“Thank you too, to M&D Green for coming along and delivering some important health advice. This was another collaboration between the club and our valued partners bringing benefit to our fan-base.
