Man killed in unincorporated Contra Costa County crash

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY — A man was killed in a crash Wednesday night in unincorporated Contra Costa County, according to authorities.

The California Highway Patrol said the man was driving northbound on Vasco Road around 10:20 p.m. when he crashed at the intersection of Camino Diablo. No other vehicles were involved.

The man has not been publicly identified.

There were no witnesses, according to the CHP. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
