Fatal crash in Paekakariki closes SH59 over night

Mews from NZ Police One person has died following a crash in Paekākāriki overnight. The single vehicle crash on State Highway 59, near Onepu Street was reported at 11:30pm. State Highway 59 was closed overnight while the Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination. It has now reopened.
