'I never thought I'd be a children's author': Tish Rabe on carrying on Dr. Seuss’ legacy

After the death of Dr. Seuss in 1991, author Tish Rabe was asked to step in and help carry on his legacy. She has written dozens of books for the Seuss franchise, not to mention several other books embraced by kids everywhere. On this “Read Across America Week,” she joined NBC News NOW’s Joe Fryer to talk about her journey and also spoke about her two new books – one of them focused on New York City’s famous Central Park.
