T.I. Shares the Moment He Said “That’s Enough” in Heated Feud with 50 Cent

For rap fans and those who, in general, keep up with pop culture, the end of February entering into March was a doozy, as Grammy-winning rappers T.I. and 50 Cent reignited their beef. Unlike your typical rap beef of yesteryear, where hip hop artists would settle their differences in the studio by trading diss tracks, the recent flare-up between T.I. and 50 Cent has spread all over social media. Not only that, but it’s dragged in members of T.I.’s family. Heck, even Beyoncé’s mom inexplicably caught a subtle insult from 50 Cent. 

With all that being said, T.I. recently sat down for an interview on The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show and shared what moment had him saying, “That’s enough.” So is the beef finally over? 

T.I. Is Proud of Sons, but One Move from King Had Him Saying “Enough” 

Again promoting his music comeback, T.I. stopped by The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, in an episode that was released on March 3. Naturally, given the headlining news of the beef, Ebro Darden, Laura Stylez, and Peter Rosenberg asked T.I. about the drama. When questioned if he enjoyed seeing his sons “step up to the moment,” T.I. replied: 

 “No. I don’t enjoy it. I do not, simply because I spent so much time trying to get this little n**** off the ledge [King], and now he has justifiable means to undo all the teachings I’ve been teaching.”

T.I. later said, “I raised my children to be men of respect. Logical, reasonable, and not to be emotional. And when I see King, how he’s moving, it’s emotional. And me too. You know what I’m saying. Me too. You drag the matriarch of our household into some nonsense. So the one thing that I am proud of out of all of this is that the women and children in our family see that it’s a line of men that’s here against who the f*ck ever.” 

Now moving through the interview, T.I. does note the moment he believes the beef between him and 50 Cent was done. The “What You Know” rapper shared: 

“Man, to be honest with you, bruh, I said that’s enough when I seen that damn t-shirt. I said, ‘Man, this is enough. That’s it. Man, y’all chill out, bro.’”

The shirt in question was one that King wore with a picture of 50 Cent's deceased mother on it. You can check out the full clip of this particular segment below. On a special note, it’s possible that if 50 Cent doesn’t reply with more trolling, this may be the end of the beef.

Why Are 50 Cent and T.I. Beefing? 

While they were never friends, tension first sparked between the two in the early to mid 2000s, when 50 Cent implied that T.I. was a snitch on a track. However, things got to a cordial place and remained there until T.I.’s recent press tour. 

While promoting his new music (“Let Em Know” is a bona fide hit by the way), T.I. relayed he doesn’t have respect for the “In Da Club” rapper after he allegedly pulled out of some “shows together” and backed out of the idea of participating in Verzuz. In response, 50 Cent reverted to his well-known form of trolling and posted an unflattering picture of T.I.’s wife, Xscape member Tiny Harris. 

50 Cent’s chess move prompted T.I.’s family (the Harris family) to unleash on the New Yorker, with his son Domani releasing the eviscerating diss track “Ms. Jackson,” and his son King taking trolling to a whole new level. King has taken to going live on social media and has put up some posts taking direct shots at 50 Cent and his deceased mother. Although T.I. himself added to the attacks on 50 Cent by releasing some tracks of his own, it appears his recent comments on The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show may mean there is a ceasefire.
