Head of Alibaba's Qwen AI division resigns
The head of Alibaba Group’s Qwen AI model division, Lin Junyang, said he would step down, days after updated products were released. In a post on X, he wrote “Bye my beloved Qwen” without further explanation. The jump came after Chinese tech giants launched aggressive campaigns to draw more users to their apps during the Lunar New Year holidays.
