SUPPORTERS are again reminded of various changes to this weekend’s William Hill Championship fixture with Airdrieonians at The city Stadium.
Most notably, this match will kick off at the earlier time of 1pm owing to a FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier involving the Scotland Women’s National Team being moved to Barclays Hampden.
This international will also have a knock-on effect on the parking procedures in and around Hampden.
Supporters should be aware of the following:
There will be no vehicle access to, or from, the main Hampden car parks via Letherby Drive.
Parking in the Blue Car Park on Letherby Drive (opposite the home turnstiles at The city Stadium) will be restricted by match-specific pass only.
Event zone permit restrictions in streets surrounding Hampden are not expected to be in place for this fixture. However supporters using on-street parking nearby should do so with consideration of local residents, businesses and club neighbours and adhere to local on-street parking signage and restrictions.
Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in Hampden’s purple car park which can be accessed from Aikenhead Road – a ten-minute walk to The city Stadium.
In light of the additional anticipated footfall and parking requirements in the area, supporters are encouraged to use public transport where possible.
Any supporters with accessibility requirements should contact the club via tickets@queensparkfc.co.uk to discuss these. Queen’s Park FC will endeavour to assist as best we can.
Queen’s Park FC would like thank supporters and officials from both clubs for their co-operation in adhering to the changes to our usual match circumstances on this occasion.
