JFK Jr.'s Cousin Defends Daryl Hannah Against 'Love Story' Portrayal

Daryl Hannah just slammed the FX and Hulu series Love Story for the way she was portrayed and now she’s being defended by one of John F. Kennedy Jr.‘s relatives.

The actress was in an on-and-off relationship with the late JFK Jr. for years before calling it quits for good, shortly before he started dating Carolyn Bessette.

Daryl has never publicly commented on her relationship with John, but she brought up her former romance while defending herself against how she’s portrayed in the series, produced by Ryan Murphy.

“The character ‘Daryl Hannah’ portrayed in the series is not even a remotely accurate representation of my life, my conduct or my relationship with John. The actions and behaviors attributed to me are untrue,” she began a scathing essay.

Now, Douglas Kennedy is defending Daryl.

Daryl is played by Dree Hemingway on the series, which stars Paul Anthony Kelly as JFK Jr. and Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn.
