Collector orders hygiene checks in schools after midday meal incident; 38,390 students appear for SSLC exam in Coimbatore

Following student illness from a midday meal, Coimbatore district administration has ordered thorough cleaning of school kitchens and premises. A special team will inspect hygiene, food quality, and cooking practices. The district is also ensuring smooth conduct of the Class 10 public examinations with extensive arrangements for security and personnel.
