Vehicle with cylinders overturns, blows lid off illegal LPG racket
An overturned TNNA pickup van near Sambalpur University road led to the discovery of an illegal LPG cylinder storage and black-marketing operation. Police seized 161 cylinders, including 62 filled ones, and arrested Manthan Prasad Mahato, who admitted to running an illicit warehouse. The racket is suspected of diverting gas amid regional shortages. Further investigation is ongoing.
