20 Highest-Paid Actors of 2025 Revealed (#1 Earned $48 Million!)

Forbes has released its annual ranking of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors.

The 2025 list highlights the 20 performers who earned the most over the past year, based on income generated from entertainment work such as acting, producing, and directing, and their lucrative endorsement deals.

While movie stardom remains a high-paying avenue, Hollywood has faced growing anxiety around the rise of artificial intelligence and decreasing theatrical ticket sales. At the same time, entertainers in other industries, such as digital media, are increasingly earning more than many film and TV stars.

Even with those shifts, studios still invest heavily in recognizable talent. Big-name actors remain key to marketing major projects and drawing global attention to films.

According to Forbes, the 20 highest-paid actors collectively earned an estimated $590 million in 2025, down about 20% from $730 million in 2024.

The rankings reflect gross earnings as well as estimated take-home pay after fees paid to agents, managers, lawyers, etc.
