Re: Iwata
What I like about iwata is he always seems to make himself available for the ball, will commit to whatever position he's played in, and runs all day. He's not a break the lines full back like laird, who I think will take the spot when we have a left back.
What annoys me though is I feel like we could do more to give iwata an option when he's on the ball. I do agree it sometimes feels like the move breaks down a little but he doesn't seem to have much on. The right wingers a mile away, and if he ends up carrying it to the crossing position we somehow don't have men in the box.
When laird is back on the right he has the ability to actually get himself into the box and put it across or out to the edge of the box so I'm hoping that gives us some penetration we've been missing. Is probably have iwata as the back up RB ahead of bright.
