Javier Bardem Wears Free Palestine Pin at Oscars 2026, Says 'No to War' While Presenting on Stage

Javier Bardem made a statement at the Oscars, both with his voice and his fashion choice.

The Oscar-winning actor voiced his support to “Free Palestine” while presenting at the 2026 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 15) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Javier presented the award for Best International Feature alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The award went to the Norwegian movie Sentimental Value.

While walking to the stage, Javier was seen wearing two pins on his lapel. One read, “No a la Guerra,” which translates to, “No to War.” The other one showed support for Palestine.

Javier was at the event to support his movie F1, which is nominated for Best Picture. The other nine movies nominated for the top award this year are Bugonia, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, Sinners, and Train Dreams.
