Election Commission scraps contract of Bengal poll webcam vendor after 'irregularities'
The Election Commission has cancelled the contract of a web camera supplier following major irregularities in footage from the 2021 West Bengal assembly and 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Serious discrepancies were found during examination of recordings. Three new vendors have been selected through fresh tenders to supply equipment for future polls.
