India ‘engaged’ with U.S. on trade deal, says Commerce Secretary as officials warn of delays

Sources in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry say India will sign the deal only once the final “tariff architecture” of the U.S. becomes clear; this comes against the backdrop of a temporary 10% tariff by the U.S. and two new investigations it has launched on trade partners, including India.
