Hailee Steinfeld Reacts to 'Sinners' Oscar Wins After Missing Show Due to Pregnancy
Hailee Steinfeld wasn’t at the Oscars this year as she’s preparing for the birth of her first child, but she watched the show to cheer on her Sinners team!
The 29-year-old actress became one of the youngest Oscar nominees of all time when she received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her work in True Grit back in 2011.
Now, she’s part of the cast of another Oscar-caliber movie thanks to her role in Sinners.
Sinners won 4 awards at the Oscars, including Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan, Best Original Screenplay for Ryan Coogler, Best Original Score for Ludwig Göransson, and Best Cinematography for Autumn Durald Arkapaw, who became the first female winner in that category.
Hailee took to her Beau Society newsletter to share her thoughts.

“How about Sunday night?? I think I cried the whole show! Between Miles’ performance (with Jayme and Lili AND Misty Copeland???), and Michael, Ryan, and Ludwig winning, then Autumn accepting her Oscar as Ryan ran her son Aiden up the aisle to get a closer look at his mama making history! It was a magical night watching my entire Sinners family shine,” she wrote.
Watch the Sinners performance now if you missed it!
Hailee recently shared her big pregnancy craving.
