Biocon names insider Shreehas Tambe as MD & CEO for 5 years as Siddharth Mittal steps down

Biocon announced a leadership change. Siddharth Mittal will step down as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on March 31. He will move to another leadership role within the Biocon Group. Shreehas Pradeep Tambe has been appointed as his successor. Tambe's appointment as CEO and MD is for a five-year term. This transition is subject to shareholder approval.
