Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods Team Up for Bar Venture Despite Past DUI Arrests

In the midst of Tiger Woods's most recent DUI arrest, and newly unearthed footage of Justin Timberlake's 2024 arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), the famous pals are pressing on with their business endeavor — awkwardly, a growing portfolio of bars.

Titled T-Squared Social, Tiger and Timberlake have two locations for their golf-themed drinking holes — one in New York City, which has been in business since 2023, and one opening last year in St. Andrews in Scotland, one of the golfing capitals of the world.

A mix of real and virtual golf, the bougie bar mixes sports fandom with interactive gaming to entertain punters. "The idea for T-Squared Social came to us during a round of golf at Albany, our development in The Bahamas," Woods said in a press release at the time. "Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favorite things and brings people together to just have a great time. We always knew we wanted to do something together, and NEXUS gave us the platform to bring our idea to life."

Less than a year after the first T-Squared Social opened its doors, Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, Long Island, after being spotted by police running through a stop sign and driving on the wrong side of the road. The pop prince was arrested in June 2024 on a driving while intoxicated charge, but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in court, and was ordered to pay a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge, along with 25 hours of community service, and make a public safety announcement.

The incident, especially as bodycam footage continues to be released, led to widespread mockery online. Two moments were subject to several memes. The first was when Justin reportedly said, "This is going to ruin the tour," to which a young police officer responded, "What tour?" Justin said, "the world tour," referring to his then-upcoming concerts.

A second, more recent release, in which Justin jokingly responded, "white?" when reading his personal information on a report at the police station, also drew widespread online attention. Justin previously sued to keep the footage from the public, but it was ultimately released following a settlement with Sag Harbor police.

Now, Woods has been involved in a rollover car accident in Jupiter Island, Florida. The arrest marks the third time the golfing prodigy has been arrested on a DUI offence, with the most recent being in 2021. According to Page Six, Tiger has crashed his car four times in the past 16 years.
