A Georgia appeals court says Fulton County doesn't have to seat two Republican picks to its election board. A ruling Friday says county commissioners can reject the party's nominees and ask for new names. The majority Democratic commission voted last year to block Julie Adams and Jason Frazier from the board. Both Republicans have been involved in efforts to challenge how Fulton County runs elections after Donald Trump's 2020 loss in Georgia. Trump officials announce 10-gigawatt data center, gas plants for former Ohio uranium site

The U.S. Department of Energy has announced a public-private partnership with SoftBank and AEP Ohio to develop a massive artificial intelligence data center and power complex at a former uranium enrichment site in southern Ohio. The project announced Friday includes a planned 10-gigawatt data center and up to 10 gigawatts of new power generation, most of it fueled by natural gas, along with billions in grid upgrades.
