Lando Norris unveiled on Wednesday the very special one-off helmet that he’ll be using in this weekend’s the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Norris’ lid is directly inspired by the exquisite porcelain of Herendi Porcelanmanufaktura, the makers of the event’s trophies, one of which – Max Verstappen’s winning vase – was inadvertently shattered by the McLaren driver last year on the podium as a result of the Briton’s signature champagne thump.
“Honour to team up with @herendporcelain on this hand painted masterpiece for Hungary,” Norris wrote on Instagram. “When we got together we knew we wanted to do something special and here it is. From the bottom of my heart thank you (and sorry about last year).
If anything gets dropped on Sunday, at least Norris’ helmet will still look smashing!
