President Tokayev extends congratulations to Egypt

Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a telegram of congratulations to the President of Egypt. On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and personally, the Head of State extended his best wishes to Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and all Egyptians on their national holiday, Revolution Day.

"I am pleased to note the strengthening of traditional ties between Kazakhstan and Egypt, based on shared spiritual values and multifaceted cooperation. I am confident that our partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats will continue to progress for the benefit of our peoples," stated the telegram.

President Tokayev also wished Abdel Fattah el-Sisi success in his responsibilities and prosperity and well-being to the fraternal people of Egypt.
Revolution Day in Egypt, also known as the 1952 Revolution or the military coup of 1952, marks the military coup that ended the monarchy and established a republic on July 23, 1952, led by the Free Officers Movement under Gamal Abdel Nasser. July 23 is an official holiday in Egypt.
