The National Bank has issued new collectible coins

Tengrinews.kz - The National Bank issues collectible coins ASTANA QALASYNYN BAS MESHITI and FATIMA QOLY, according to the press center of the National Bank.

The sale of collectible coins will be carried out through the online store of the National Bank, ASTANA QALASYNYN BAS MESHITI from November 25, 2024, FATIMA QOLY from November 28, 2024.

The ASTANA QALASYNYN BAS MESHITI (Astana Grand Mosque) coin continues the series "Mosques and Cathedrals of Kazakhstan". The coin is dedicated to the Central Mosque of Astana, which opened in 2022. This mosque is the largest in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The design features a stylized image of a mosque and an Arabic inscription denoting a Muslim greeting. The coins are made of 925 silver, weighing 31.1 grams, with a diameter of 38.61 mm, a denomination of 1000 tenge, and a circulation of 1000 pieces.

The FATIMA QOLY (Hand of Fatima) coin is the sixth coin in the Magic Symbols series. The design of the coin is based on a stylized ornamental image of a protective amulet in the form of an open palm, known in the cultures of peoples of different countries. The coins are made of 925 silver using enamel and gilding technology, weighing 31.1 grams, with a diameter of 38.61 mm, antique silver quality, a denomination of 1000 tenge, and a circulation of 3000 pieces.

The National Bank reminded that all types of coins are mandatory for acceptance at their face value throughout Kazakhstan for all types of payments, as well as for crediting to bank accounts and for transfer and exchange in all banks of the country.

Earlier, The National Bank is issuing unique collectible coins into circulation, which are manufactured at the Kazakhstan Mint.
