Emergency brake on trains in Kazakhstan: When to use and when fine is imposed

Tengrinews.kz - The press service of the "Passenger Transportation" company explained when it is appropriate to use the emergency brake.
The company reminded passengers of the rules for using the device:

"The emergency brake is intended solely for emergency stopping in situations where there is a threat to the life or health of passengers or when traffic safety is at risk. Using it for personal reasons or without necessity is strictly prohibited," the press service noted.

Furthermore, according to the Code of Administrative Offenses, unauthorized use of the emergency brake is punishable by a fine of 5 monthly calculation indices (MCI), approximately 18,500 tenge.
Important reminders:

After using the emergency brake, immediately notify the conductor or train staff and explain the reason.
Unnecessary use of the emergency brake can disrupt the train schedule and create additional risks.
