Tokayev awarded the Order of Dostyk to the Ambassador of China

Tengrinews.kz - The Head of State received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Kazakhstan Zhang Xiao, according to Akorda.
During the conversation, the President emphasized that Kazakhstan and China have long been bound by strong ties of friendship and good neighborliness. According to him, the parties continue to deepen cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.

"As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted, today the relations between Kazakhstan and China are dynamic and multifaceted: an active political dialogue is maintained, trade and economic ties are strengthening, cultural exchanges are carried out, the number of educational programs and scientific projects is increasing, close cooperation is underway in the field of security, especially in the fight against the "three forces of evil." In addition, our countries actively interact in the international arena within the framework of the UN, SCO, CICA, as well as in the "Central Asia - China" format. According to the Head of State, the relations between Kazakhstan and China can be called exemplary," the Akorda statement said.

In turn, the Chinese Ambassador thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and confirmed Beijing's commitment to the further progressive development of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
The head of state highly appreciated the personal contribution of Ambassador Zhang Xiao to strengthening the ties of friendship and good neighborliness, the successful development of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation in all areas. In recognition of Zhang Xiao's merits, the President of Kazakhstan awarded him the Order of Dostyk (Friendship), 2nd degree.
