Chair Professor Director of HKUST Big Data Institute Department of Computer Science and Engineering Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Clear Water Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong Lei Chen received his BS degree in Computer Science at Tian Jin University ,P.R.China(BS 94), and an MA degree in computer science at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Asian Institute of Technology (MS 97). He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at University of Waterloo. Lei Chen is an IEEE Fellow and ACM Distinguished Scientist.
