When and where the largest Christmas tree in Astana will be lit

Tengrinews.kz - On December 18 at 8 PM, the lights on the Christmas trees will be lit simultaneously in all districts of the capital.
The data was provided by the press service of the Astana akimat (local government administration). In total, the lights on 30 Christmas trees will be lit simultaneously throughout the city.
The 25-meter, largest Christmas tree will be installed in the parking lot of the Astana Arena stadium, where the festive program will be held.
Almaty and Saraishyk District
Christmas trees will be lit in several more locations. A 25-meter Christmas tree will be installed on the square of the "Kazakh Eli" monument.
The center of attraction for children will be the territory of the Palace of Schoolchildren on Tauelsizdik Avenue with a 20-meter Christmas tree, a skating rink, a slide, a fairy-tale fireplace, and themed photo zones.
A 17-meter Christmas tree will shine brightly on the territory of the "Sana Sport" sports complex.
Christmas trees will also be installed in the following locations:
Alma Park on Ryskulbekov Street - 17 meters.On the territory of Astana Music Hall - 17 meters.Nurly Zhol Railway Station - 17 meters, with small architectural forms.
Baikonyr District
Five Christmas trees of different heights will decorate the following areas:
Zhastar Palace - 18-meter Christmas tree, there will also be a skating rink and a snow slide, light figures.Ataturk Park on Tashenova Street - 20-meter Christmas tree, there will be a skating rink and a slide.In addition, fairy-tale small architectural forms in the form of New Year characters will be installed.Residential areas "Ondіris" and "Kirpichny", summer cottage area "Koyandy" - 8-meter Christmas trees will shine. Kenshiler Street, 5, and Dosmukhameduly, 6, - conical Christmas trees 5 meters high will be installed.
Nura District
A 25-meter Christmas tree was placed in the parking lot of the Astana Arena stadium. Skating rinks, slides, and photo zones were prepared here. A 290-meter-long skating rink was organized in Central Park, and a 22-meter-long Christmas tree was installed at the central entrance.
In the square of the "Zelenyi Kvartal" residential complex near the pond, various small architectural forms and photo zones were installed, and a 7-meter-high Christmas tree was installed. A skating rink and snow slides were opened in the Aigyrzhal square in the Urker residential complex. The space is also decorated with a New Year tree.
On December 18, Christmas trees from 7 to 14 meters high will also sparkle near the shopping and entertainment centers Saryarka, Keruen City, Asia Park, Khan Shatyr and the Island family recreation center.
In addition, at the intersection of Syganak and Aitmatova streets, slides were built, an 8-meter Christmas tree and thematic small architectural forms were installed.
Saryarka District
Six Christmas trees of different heights from 3 to 18 meters will shine here. Ice slides, skating rinks and atmospheric photo zones await residents and guests of the district. The city square will be decorated with a live spruce tree 13 meters high.
A 600-square-meter skating rink, an ice slide, and photo zones will also be available.
A 500-square-meter skating rink and a Christmas tree have been organized on the territory of the park on Bogenbai Batyr Avenue, 43.
Slides, a skating rink, and a festive area with an 18-meter Christmas tree will be available for family leisure in Koktal Park.
A large skating rink has been opened on the Yesil River embankment on the river ice, 8 slides of different difficulty levels have been installed. An 8-meter-high Christmas tree will be installed on the territory. The park near the "Naz Theater" will turn into a colorful space with a 3-meter festive Christmas tree and themed photo zones.
A live 8-meter-tall Christmas tree was decorated along Yubileynaya Street, 22. In the Agrogorodok residential area, at the intersection of Okzhetpes and Gertsena Streets, a slide, skating rink, and bright photo zones were installed.
Yesil District
A 23-meter Christmas tree will be installed on the Expo territory. A skating rink and slides will also be available. Another festive Christmas tree will shine on the round square along Kabanbai Batyr Avenue.
A 23-meter Christmas tree will appear in the Botanical Garden, the territory will be decorated with lighting.
In addition, small architectural forms and New Year's installations will decorate popular locations: around the Baiterek monument, on Nur Zhol Boulevard, on Mangilik El Avenue, in Linear Park, in Ulytau Square.
A 10-meter Christmas tree will shine in the Prigorodny residential area. A skating rink will also be available, and festive decorations will appear.
By the way, it was previously reported that new ice rinks, slides, and photo zones will appear in Astana in the new season and will operate until the end of winter. They will be located in six districts of the city.
According to the press service of the capital's akimat, district akimats will allocate about 696.7 million tenge for winter decoration works, which will be distributed as follows:

Nura district - 79 million tenge;
Saryarka district - 110 million tenge;
Almaty and Saraishyk districts - 165 million tenge;
Baikonyr district - 158.8 million tenge;
Yesil district - 183.9 million tenge.

As you know, at the beginning of the new year, Kazakhstanis with a five-day work week will rest from January 1 to January 4 due to the transfer of the working day from January 3 to Sunday, January 5.
