Earthquake strikes 212 kilometers from Almaty

Tengrinews.kz – Kazakh seismologists have recorded an earthquake in Kyrgyzstan.
According to operational data from the Kazakhstan Data Center, the earthquake occurred on 30 January at 07:54 AM Astana time on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The magnitude of the tremor was 3.9. Judging by the map, the epicenter was located 212 kilometers southeast of Almaty.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, the focus of the earthquake was 6 kilometers southwest of the village of Zhan-Bulak and 24 kilometers southwest of the city of Naryn.
In Kyrgyz settlements, the intensity of the earthquake was:

in the villages of Zhan-Bulak, Dostuk, Ak-Talaa – about 3.5 points,in Tash-Bulak, Kulanak, Min-Bulak, Emgek-Talaa – 3 points,in the city of Naryn – 2.5 points.
