Kazakh adopted by Europeans - Zhanibek's mother passes away

Tengrinews.kz - For 8 months Murat Savelyev, known as Zhanibek, has been looking for his biological parents in Kazakhstan. The guy was born in Arkalyk and later ended up in an orphanage where he was adopted by Valerie, a European woman. He reported that his mother passed away.

In April this year, Zhanibek and his mother Valerie recorded a video where she described the process of adopting him for $12,000. However, it turned out that the adoption was illegal. Several years later, Valerie tried to find Zhanibek's biological family, but was unsuccessful.

Valerie had been ill for the past two months, and Zhanibek had been supporting her in every way possible. He reported, that his mum passed away at the age of 54. She chose euthanasia - voluntary termination of life. This method is only allowed in some European countries.

Zhanibek wrote that he will go on social media as soon as his condition allows. He is currently 22 years old and has been living in Spain for more than five years. He works in a hotel and is waiting for news about his biological mother.
