President Tokayev received the Special Envoy of the President of Rwanda

Tengrinews.kz - The Head of State received the Special Envoy of the President of Rwanda, Jean Paul Nyirubutama, according to a statement from Akorda.
Welcoming the Special Envoy, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev conveyed his best wishes to his counterpart, Rwanda's President Paul Kagame. He expressed gratitude to the Rwandan side for its commitment to enhancing multifaceted cooperation with Kazakhstan.


"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of engagement with African countries, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening relations with Rwanda across a wide range of bilateral and multilateral issues.
In this context, the President highly praised the recent signing of the Agreement between Kazakhstan and Rwanda on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports," the Akorda press service reported.

Jean Paul Nyirubutama thanked the Head of State for the warm reception, noting Kazakhstan's significant achievements in the political and socio-economic spheres.
During the meeting, the prospects for trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation were also discussed.
