Margaret Thatcher's Order of “Dostyk“ listed for sale in UK

Tengrinews.kz - The Order of "Dostyk" (Friendship), which was awarded to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in Kazakhstan, has been put up for sale on a British online marketplace.
According to a listing on Peter Harrington, the Order of "Dostyk" is being sold for £12,500 (approximately 7.9 million tenge). This prestigious award was presented to Thatcher in 2001 in recognition of her contributions to strengthening relations between Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom.

The listing notes that the order is in excellent condition, apart from a few scratches on the bottom of the box.

Margaret Thatcher was the seventh recipient of the order.Other recipients have included former U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and Singapore’s first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
