Tons of hay were burned in eastern Kazakhstan village
Tengrinews.kz - A fire broke out on the property of a private residence in the Aksuat district of the Abai region, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the blaze occurred in the village of Satpayev on Baizakov Street, engulfing an outbuilding and 15 tons of hay.
"Thanks to the prompt actions of firefighters, the fire was extinguished over an area of 120 square meters. There were no injuries," the ministry stated.

Authorities are urging residents of Kazakhstan to adhere to fire safety regulations.
Earlier, a wildfire started in the Karaganda region. It spread across an area of more than 35,000 hectares, and the situation was worsened by strong gusty winds. A few days later, on October 9, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire had been extinguished.
