Earthquake recorded in Mangystau region
Tengrinews.kz - An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 was registered in the Mangystau Region on Monday, December 2.
Data from volcanodiscovery.com indicates that the earthquake occurred at 2:48 PM local time at a depth of 10 kilometers, approximately 79 kilometers from Aktau. Residents of the Tupkaragan district and the village of Shetpe reportedly felt the tremors.
This follows a similar earthquake on November 28 near the Kazakhstan-China border, which also had a magnitude of 4.2.
