Tokayev sent telegram to Qatar’s Emir

Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a congratulatory telegram to the Emir of Qatar, according to the Akorda press service.
Tokayev extended his congratulations to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the people of Qatar on the occasion of the country's National Day.

"The Head of State highlighted the significant strengthening of constructive and substantial relations between Kazakhstan and Qatar, which has become one of our country's key and reliable partners in the He also expressed confidence that the solid cooperation, rooted in traditional friendship and brotherhood, will continue to develop for the benefit of both nations," the press service noted.

Earlier, senators reviewed and approved the draft law "On the Ratification of the Agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the State of Qatar on Military Cooperation."
