What will happen to the internet in Kazakhstan during New Year holidays?
Tengrinews.kz - The Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry, Zhaslan Madiyev, addressed a question during a briefing after the government meeting about whether Kazakhstan residents should expect issues with communication and the internet during the New Year holidays.
According to Madiyev, the ministry responds automatically to any disruptions.
“We do not expect such disruptions during the upcoming holidays,” he stated.
Zhaslan Madiyev also explained the reasons behind issues with mobile communication and internet during the recent Independence Day holiday.
“Our country has a large number of databases that are all interconnected. Significant queries and processes are hidden behind these technologies. Therefore, disruptions can occur in any organization, bank, government agency, or any country. It’s our responsibility as specialists to resolve such issues quickly when they arise. To my knowledge, we resolved those issues promptly. There wasn’t a situation where people experienced problems for two, three, or four days due to disruptions. We have specialists who prepare incident reports and take measures to ensure such errors do not occur in the future,” the minister said.
