eGov stops working in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – Kazakhstanis are reporting problems accessing their personal accounts on the e-government portal eGov.kz.

Users say they cannot log in: when they try to sign in, the system redirects them to a page saying that “scheduled maintenance work is in progress”.

At the same time, the main portal itself may open, but access to the personal profile remains unavailable.

Some users also report issues when using the eGov mobile application.

At the time of publication, official representatives of National Information Technologies had not yet commented on the situation.

The eGov.kz portal is used to obtain government services online — for example, citizens use it to request certificates and receive other services without visiting government offices in person.
