The increased mobility that Demon Hunter brings to the MMO
With Illidan in the lead yet again in the latest expansion WOTLK Gold called Legion I wondered whether the link with Night Elf antihero and introduction of the brand new Demon Hunter class would be enough to take me back into peak World of Warcraft .
Demon Hunter is a class that can be found in both factions. Demon Hunter class is available to both Alliance with Horde factions, visually differentiated from the Night Elf and Blood Elf versions and. One of the unique features associated with The Demon Hunter class is its mobility; players can double-jump and glide, reducing falls and benefiting from a class-exclusive method to lessen the fall damage.
The increased mobility that Demon Hunter brings to the MMO could be utilized in the classes' beginning zone, but I realized that it wasn't essential to progressing through the quest line. With the exception of a few higher platforms and ledges, the same terrain meant that there wasn't a huge need to jump twice and glide through the first section.
But, gliding and jumping aren't the only tools for movement that the Demon Hunter has. Demon Hunters also have greater agility in combat--dashing at everything you come across with Fel Rush or doing a quick backward leap to avoid enemy attacks timed by using Vengeful Retreat. Metamorphosis can be used to transform into a gigantic Demon, performing a leap up into the air before crashing into the ground, causing a flurry of shock to enemies in close proximity. In my Demon Hunter was rarely stationary in battle and certainly made the fights more exciting.
While the new moves weren't an absolute necessity for the first area of buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold play, using them as an addition to the Demon Hunter's combat abilities created a fast-paced feel previously not present in WoW. It felt incredibly satisfying to gather multiple mobs together, dash through them using Fel Rush or stun them, then kill them with Metamorphosis and then double-jump and then glide off to another enemy. I was always moving around, a significant change from the static nature of traditional World of Warcraft combat.
