Anupamaa: Aashish Mehrotra, who entertained us by portraying the character of Toshu in the Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer show for the past four years, shocked his fans with a recent post. The actor, just an hour ago, posted on his social media that he is quitting Anupamaa. Yes, you heard it right. Aashish will no longer be playing Rupali's on-screen son in the Rajan Shahi show. While Aashish has bid adieu to the show, rumours are rife that the makers will end Toshu's character in the show or will replace Aashish with another actor.

Off late, a lot of actors have quit Anupamaa. Post leap, Apara Mehta, Ashlesha Savant, Muskaan Bamne quit the show. Now that Aashish too is all set to bid adieu to the show, it would be interesting to see how the audience will react. Although negative, Toshu has always been an integral part of the story, and people have definitely been attached to Aashish. The possibility of makers showing Toshu's death is very less as they have already shown Anu's son Samar's death. Hence, the makers might soon introduce a new actor as Toshu.
