Srikanth actress Jyotika recently in an interview made few shocking revelations as she said that no Bollywood film was offered to her in 27 years.
South Indian actress Jyotika who received applause for her role in Ajay Devgn starrer Shaitaan. The diva made her Bollywood debut in 90s with Doli Saja Ke Rakhna but unfortunately moved to the South soon after that. Recently, Jyotika made her strong comeback with Shaitaan and her performance managed to win hearts. Well, now the actress is all set to impress everyone with her role in Srikanth with Rajkummar Rao.

Jyotika recently in an interview spoke her heart out about why she took time to return to Bollywood. During a recent interview with News 18 Showsha, Jyotika said that after her first film turned out to be a flop she made her way into South films. Well, the diva revealed that no big Bollywood filmmaker approached her. Yes, you read that right!

Jyotika said that the Hindi film industry runs based on formulas and the first film needs to do well for you to get more offers. She even added that there was a perception around her that she was a South Indian which made filmmakers assume that she does not want to do Hindi films anymore. Well, she even said that she did not refrain from doing Hindi films, but was not offered any script in many years.
The gorgeous actress Jyotika also said that she faced competition from other Bollywood actresses at that time who were working with big production houses. She said that her film was produced by a big banner, but her movie got flopped and she had to sign a south film and diverted from Bollywood. Jyotika made her Bollywood comeback with Shaitaan but she had to make her comeback with Srikanth. But, director Tushar Hiranandani had revealed that she rejected the film when he offered it to her. But, later her husband and Tamil star Suriya convinced her and she agreed to do Shaitaan after Shrikanth.

Srikanth is a story about the industrialist who was visually challenged, but fought against all odds and became successful. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and stars Rajkummar Rao, Jyotika, and Alaya F. The film will release in theaters on May 10, 2024.
