The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode starts with Manisha, Manoj, and the rest of the kids hiding the divorce papers. They don't want Abhimaan to separate, hence are making every possible attempt to delay the divorce. Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) tells Armaan to sign the divorce papers as soon as possible as Dadisa will be miffed if once again the divorce procedure is delayed. As Armaan opens his bag, he sees the divorce paper is missing. Armaan informs the same to Dadisa, to which the latter gets highly miffed. Dadisa first doubts Madhav and then Manisha. However, both of them refuse to be the person behind the act. The entire house is now searching for the divorce paper.

Dadisa tells Vidya that she has a strong feeling that Armaan and Abhira's (Samridhii) divorce may never happen. When Vidya asks the reason behind it, Dadisa states that Armaan doesn't know, but somewhere he too doesn't want to divorce Abhira, and sooner or later, he will realize his feelings. Abhira overhears the conversation and feels a bit hopeful that maybe her and Armaan's marriage can still be saved. However, she soon realizes that she is just daydreaming and how Armaan and she are meant to be separated.

On the other hand, Sanjay tells Dadisa that in order to make sure Armaan and Abhira's divorce gets finalized legally, one of them has to say in court that their marriage happened forcefully.
