Sumbul Touqeer Khan has reacted to her show Imlie going off-air. Sumbul was the first lead of the show while Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy were seen in the show in the third generation story.

Imlie is one of the most loved TV shows. It has been in the news since a long time. The show has a huge fan following and it began in 2020. Gul Khan is the producer of the show and she recently announced that the show is going off-air. The show began in 2020 with Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Fahmaan Khan in the lead. People loved the story of Imlie and Aryan Singh Rathore. Their jodi won hearts and they were lovingly called #AryLie. Fahmaan and Sumbul have done a great job and later, Karan Vohra, Megha Chakraborty and Seerat Kapoor took over as the leads. They too have carried forward the show very well and now we see Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy as the lead actors.

Many loyal fans of the show are requesting the makers not to pull it down. However, producer Gul Khan had said that because there was a drop in TRPs, they decided to pull it down before more downfall happens.

Sumbul Touqeer Khan talks about Imlie going off-air

Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy had shared emotional notes on Instagram as they shot for the last episodes of the show. Now, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, the first lead of the show has reacted to the news of the show going off-air. She spoke to Telly Masala and said that she was shocked when she came to know that the show is going off-air.

She said that Imlie was her first big project and whatever she has got today is because of that show. She said that she felt strange when the news came and she did not expect that happening. Sumbul said she used to go on the sets whenever she had her shoot in Film city.

She has been close to Sai and Adrija and knows them. She also knows everyone else on the sets and she has a beautiful relationship with everyone there. Sumbul said she is going to miss going on the sets but feels this is the best that has happened.
