Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star Gurucharan Singh is back home. The actor who became famous for playing the role of Sodhi in Asit Modi's show went missing on April 22. His parents rushed to the police and filed a complaint. The police had been investigating the case and even paid a visit to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah sets to interrogate the cast. After almost 26 days, Gurucharan Singh returned home. His statement was recorded by the Delhi Police and reports suggest that he went out for a religious journey. Now, his first picture has gone viral on social media.

Gurucharan Singh aka Sodhi of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah can be seen posing with a police officer in the photo. It is the first photo of his after his parents reported him to be missing. Gurucharan Singh can be seen smiling in the photo. Fans seem to be upset and are calling it a publicity stunt. Gurcharan Singh is being slammed for not informing his old parents about his religious journey and simply disappeared. One of the comments on the picture read, "Surely a publicity stunt. I'm just shocked to see him doing that. He's already famous. Why Sodhi ji.. why?" Another comment on the photo read, "Aachi bat hay religious journey pe the. Par maa bap ko nark ki ser karwa diya."

There were many reports regarding Gurucharan Singh doing the rounds of the internet. A few reports suggest that he was in a financial problem. There were reports that also stated that he operated multiple credit cards. Then, a report stated that Gurucharan Singh was planning to get married. His near and dear ones rubbished the reports. During the investigation, Gurucharan Singh was seen on a CCTV footage in Palam. However, the police could not trace his whereabouts from here on. After 26 days, Gurucharan Singh returned home as reportedly he realised that he should be back. He reportedly stayed and visited many Gurudwaras in Ludhiana and Amritsar.
