Armenian NA speaker, Security Council Sec extend condolences to Iranian counterparts
ArmInfo. The NA President Alen Simonyan sent a condolence letter to the Speaker of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, where it particularly says:
"Your Excellency,
We received with deep grief the sad news on death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the members of the Government and the crew accompanying them because of the helicopter crash.
The Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people share that tragic pain together with the brotherly people of Iran.
Your Excellency, at this difficult moment, let us offer our deep condolences, comforting words on behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and personally me and express fraternal support to you, the members of parliament and the friendly people of Iran."
Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan also expressed his condolences. He sent a telegram of condolences to the Secretary of the Supreme Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadiyan. Grigoryan noted that he received with deep sorrow the news of the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the delegation accompanying them as a result of a helicopter crash.
