Final round of Tigran Petrosyan chess tournament takes place at  Tbilisi Chess Palace

ArmInfo.The final round of the chess tournament named after two-time world champion Tigran Petrosyan 

took place at the Tbilisi Chess House.

According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Georgia, 

the event was attended by Advisor to the RA Embassy David Janazyan, 

who thanked the organizers for preserving the memory of the world- 

famous chess player and wished success to the tournament 

participants.

The Tigran Petrosyan Tournament is held annually in Tbilisi, his 

homeland, on the initiative of the Tbilisi City Hall, the Tbilisi 

Chess House and the Youth Palace. This year it was dedicated to the 

95th anniversary of the birth of Tigran Petrosyan and the 100th 

anniversary of the founding of the International Chess Federation.
