Later, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi came in as Kartik-Naira. This story also went on for more than four years. The third generation story had Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod as Abhimanyu-Akshara. They were loved and had a huge fan following like the previous two generations. However, this story was short and fans did not like the way it was kept incomplete. People wanted more of Akshara and Abhimanyu but soon the fourth generation story began.
