Armenia to purchase CAESAR howitzers from France 

ArmInfo.Armenia has signed a contract with France for the purchase of 155mm self-propelled CAESAR 

howitzers, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu revealed.

The agreement was reached during the visit of Armenian Defense 

Minister Suren Papikyan to Paris on Monday.

"We continue to strengthen our defense relationship with Armenia. The 

signing of an agreement on the acquisition of CAESAR cannons marks a 

new milestone," Lecornu's X post reads.

Earlier, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported that during the 

working visit of Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan to Paris, 

an agreement on military-technical cooperation was signed between the 

RA Ministry of Defense and the French military-industrial company 

KNDS.
