As per a report in Sacnilk.com, Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD has now entered the Rs 500 crore club in India. It witnessed a great growth on its second Sunday as it made around Rs 41.17 crore nett collection approximately. Now the total collection of the movie is approximately Rs 506.87 crore. From its second Saturday, the movie witnessed a good growth in numbers. On day 10, Kalki 2898 AD registered a collection of Rs 34.15 crore. The Telugu and Hindi versions of the film are the major contributors to the big number. Talking about the worldwide collection of the movie, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer has reportedly crossed the mark of Rs 800 crore. It looks like the film will be able to touch the mighty Rs 1000 crore in no time.

Kalki 2898 AD released on Jun2 27, 2024. In no time, social media got filled with positive reviews about the film. From Rajinikanth to Varun Dhawan, everyone hailed Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's movie that is set in dystopian future. The film is about Ashwathama - the immortal soul played by Amitabh Bachchan trying to save SUM-80 played by Deepika Padukone who is pregnant. Prabhas plays a bounty hunter named Bhairava. The antagonist is Yaskin played by Kamal Haasan in the movie. A lot of cameos also can been seen. Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and SS Rajamouli have made cameo appearances in Kalki 2898 AD. Now, fans are more than excited to watch the second instalment of the film. However, there is going to be a long wait. The makers recently revealed that only 20 to 30 percent of the film has been shot and major portions are still remaining.
