Armenian delegation to participate in high-level forum in New York 

ArmInfo.The Armenian delegation, headed by RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, will take part in a high-level political forum on sustainable development in New York. This follows from the order of the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan, who was traveling as part of the Armenian delegation and the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan.

According to the press service of the National Assembly of Armenia,  the delegation will be in the United States from July 14 to 17. year  dedicated to sustainable development, as part of a delegation led by  the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

Note that the forum itself opens today, July 8, and will last two  weeks. Ministers, activists and civil society representatives will  meet at the UN headquarters in New York to discuss the forum's busy  agenda. This year, the forum will focus on achieving five goals:  ending poverty, ending hunger, combating climate change, peace,  justice and strong institutions and partnerships for sustainable  development.
