Armenian NA vice-speaker to take part in CIS PA meetings 

ArmInfo. Instead of Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan, Vice-Speaker Ruben Rubinyan will 

take part in the meeting of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, Simonyan's assistant Movses Harutyunyan told an ArmInfo correspondent.

"Alen Simonyan will not go to St. Petersburg on July 12 due to 

extraordinary sessions of the National Assembly. Instead of the 

Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan will take part in 

the meeting of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly," Harutyunyan 

noted.

Senior officials of Armenia consistently refuse to participate in 

events within the CIS or CSTO.
