Directed by National Award winner Raj Kumar Gupta and produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP movies, the show delves deep into pharmaceutical scams and unethical medical trials. The series portrays the journey of a pill from production to consumption, featuring diverse characters such as powerful pharma industrialists, corrupt doctors, medical representatives, compromised drug regulators, politicians, journalists, and whistleblowers.

Riteish Deshmukh plays a CDSCO officer Prakash Chauhan who leads the battle of good against evil, confronting the powerful owner of a pharmaceutical company. Apart from his top-notch acting skills, the actor is also known for his politeness and down to earth personality. His children have also been spotted multiple times folding hands in 'Namaste' when spotted by paparazzi.

About inculcating these morals into them, Riteish shares, "Paparazzi used to click us and our children asked us for the reason. First, they asked about me. So, I gave the reason for my acting experience over the years. I explained that paps feel that I am an actor with so many years of experience and hence, they should click me. Then they questioned themselves. So, I told them that you haven't done much till now to be clicked by the paps, but still, if they are clicking you, you should thank them with folded hands."
